Receptions

Maison Henri de Borniol applies its comprehensive knowledge and command of protocol to ensure that major receptions are exceptional events to remember.

Excellence and tradition

Ever mindful of its promise of excellence and duty to abide by customs and practices, Maison Henri de Borniol has availed itself to leading families, as well as high-ranking public or private figures, for the seamless arrangement and execution of receptions of all sizes.

The tradition of major receptions dominated by elegance and a careful eye for detail has been passed down from generation to generation.

VIP reception

Over the course of its long history, Maison Henri de Borniol has welcomed and ushered sovereigns and high-ranking foreign dignitaries participating in official ceremonies. We were also asked to plan the opening of the COP 21 convention at the Hôtel de Ville in Paris, and more recently the traditional reception for the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, at the Hôtel de Ville after his election in May 2017.

A unique partnership with the Académie Française

For many years now, Maison Henri de Borniol has worked hand-in-hand with the Institut de France, and more specifically with the Académie Française.

We have planned Academy induction ceremonies for numerous authors and intellectuals: Florence Delay (2000), Yves Pouliquen (2001), Valéry Giscard d'Estaing (2003), Jean-Loup Dabadie (2008), Amin Maalouf (2011), Alain Finkielkraut (2014), Michel Zink (2018), Patrick Grainville, Barbara Cassin (2018), just to name a few.

On 27 May 2017, Maison Henri de Borniol also presided over the induction of painter and sculptor Philippe Garrel, succeeding Georges Rohnher, to the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Paris.

We regularly collaborate with the Institut de France to arrange induction ceremonies for the five Academies and the Institute’s “Grands Prix des Fondations” awards ceremonies.
